I’ve been looking at imported low-cost C02 Laser engravers and how people have modded them. ZeusArts has a nice 3D printed digital thermometer holder at http://ift.tt/2cEFWhE along with a bunch of other great mods. Since the thermometers are so cheap, I ordered some for my 3D printer to monitor air intake temperature vs. that inside the cabinet. So here’s a bunch of different sized wall-mountable digital thermometer holders. from 1×1 to 4 wide by 5 high (way overkill). These mounts have enough space to hide the connectors and excess wires behind them. Print them upside down (so the face is on the print bed). No supports needed. cutouts are provided so that the temperature probe(s) and power don’t get pinched. A filler or “blank” is included to fill any as-yet unused spots. You can find the thermometers on Ebay. Just search for “digital thermometer Molex panel PC”, which should bring up the one I used, along with many other probably compatable alternatives. I simply spliced a 5V Wall-Wart into the power cable to power mine. The heavy duty button on the back toggles between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
