NEW GUIDE: World’s Smallest MAME Arcade Cabinet featuring the Raspberry Pi Zero.
Smallest this week anyway, you just watch. Standing just 67.2 millimeters tall, this tiny arcade machine is built around a Raspberry Pi Zero, a color OLED display from Adafruit and even an audio amplifier. It’s loaded up with RetroPie and a little bit of custom code to make these classic games playable…or at least recognizable…on the tiny 1″ screen.
This was done on a lark and as such the guide lacks the polish of other projects like the PiGRRL Zero. There might be some insights and good tidbits for your own Raspberry Pi projects though.
