Eclipse Kapua: IoT Integration Platform

The Eclipse Foundation has announced a collaboration between Bosch, Red Hat and Eurotech to begin the work to create interoperable IoT components for an IoT cloud platform.
The Eclipse Kapua code base is now available. This initial contribution is based on code Eurotech's Everyware Device Cloud and involves significant involvement from Red Hat to create a platform for a set of modular services.
Eclipse Kapua offers a core integration framework and an initial set of modular components for device registry, device management, message routing, data management, and application enablement. As a next step other Eclipse Foundation projects will be integrated including , Eclipse Hono, a Bosch Software Innovations-initiated project that enables secure, reliable communication between devices and services.
