DavidCanfield shared this project on Thingiverse!

Retropie controller box for use with the Raspberry pi.

UPDATE;

Added files for a 3 part case, two lower sections and the same upper top plate

I wanted this to be a stand alone controller so i did not house the Raspberry pie inside the box. It looks like it is possible that it may fit but there are no cutouts for it.

Everything is put together with m3 bolts and nuts.

I have made slight modifications to the design from what is shown, nothing that will be noticed just a few tweaks to get everything to fit better than my prototype.

One of the button nuts will not be used due to being too close to bolt standoff, i made the cut-outs slightly smaller so buttons on the side will actually screw into the case.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
