Grace Hopper: Queen of Computer Code by Laurie Wallmark – Illustrated by Katy Wu: Grace Hopper: Queen of Computer Code is an inspiring, upbeat picture-book biography of one of STEM’s unsung heroes. Did you know Grace originated the term “computer bug”? This beautifully illustrated book follows Grace’s clock-tinkering in childhood to Vassar collegiate life to her long career in the US Navy (she retired as an admiral! At almost 80 years old!).
Analog Potentiometer Volume Adjustable TRRS Headset: Most modern headphone sets are purely digital – with three volume control buttons in-line with the cable. These headphones are interesting in that they have an analog volume control potentiometer. Perfect for use with electronic projects that don’t have a volume control, or for phones that don’t know how to use the digital buttons. There is one button on the headset, often used for ‘pause’ or ‘mute’ – when pressed it grounds the microphone pin.

It’s a lot like our other Weatherproof Enclosure but has mounting flanges with holes for easy attachment. It also has two PG-7 cable glands ( built in! These allow weather-tight cables to enter/leave the enclosures with gaskets that keep dust out. This size is good for cables 0.118″ – 0.169″ diameter.

Molex Pico Blade 2-pin Cable – 200mm: When 0.1″ is too big, and JST PH’s too chunky, the ultra-slim “PicoBlade” is a reliable alternative. These are only 1.25mm pitch, but have a nice clicky connection.
