SHT-30 Mesh-protected Weather-proof Temperature/Humidity Sensor – 1M Cable: Take your next outdoor sensor project to the next level with this SHT-30 based temperature/humidity sensor. The sensor includes a dual-use sensor module from Sensirion in a sintered metal mesh encasing. The casing is weatherproof and will keep water from seeping into the body of the sensor and damaging it, but allows air to pass through so that it can measure the humidity outside. While it is designed to be submersible in water, it’s always best to avoid long-term submersion (over 1 hour at a time), and it obviously would only give you temperature readings. For that, our metal-cased temperature sensors would be better! This sensor is best for simply placing outside for exterior weather sensing. See more!

4183 04Soft Silicone Top 6mm Push-buttons (20-pack) – Translucent: This product is really annoying to have to write a description for because it’s really something you have to touch to understand! Instead of a hard plastic actuator-button, these have a soft molded silicone button top. The underlying switch is still a clicky dome-switch but you have this nice soft grippy button for your fingers. It’s incredibly satisfying to press and adds a nice upgrade to what is normally a plain tactile switch. See more!

LED Illuminated Triangle Pushbutton A.K.A 1960s Sci-Fi Buttons – Yellow

:
We’ve got plenty of round and square buttons, but these LED Illuminated Triangle Pushbuttons are welcome to the party. These make us think of 1960’s or 70’s Sci-Fi control board buttons. As everyone knows, triangular buttons are the most retro-futuristic of all button shapes. Get 6 of them together for a cool hexagonal arrangement, or just have one triangle at a time.

We’ve got these in Green, Blue, Red and White as well!

4210 00JST SH 4-Pin Cable – Qwiic Compatible – 100mm Long: This 4-wire cable is a little over 100mm / 4″ long and fitted with JST-SH female 4-pin connectors on both ends. Compared with the chunkier JST-PH these are 1mm pitch instead of 2mm, but still have a nice latching feel, while being easy to insert and remove. See more!

4209 02JST SH 4-Pin to Premium Male Headers Cable – Qwiic Compatible – 150mm Long: This 4-wire cable is a little over 150mm / 6″ long and fitted with JST-SH female 4-pin connectors on one end and premium Dupont male headers on the other. Compared with the chunkier JST-PH these are 1mm pitch instead of 2mm, but still have a nice latching feel, while being easy to insert and remove. See more!

4219 00Slide Potentiometer with Knob – 75mm Long – 10KΩ:

Slip slidin’ away

Slip slidin’ away

You know the nearer your resistance

The more you’re slip slidin’ away

If you’re tired of the regular-old-twisty potentiometers we carry, why not slide over and try this slide pot? Most famously used on mixers and the transporter control panel on Star Trek, these slide pots are not too long at only 75mm. Use as a voltage divider and you can visually gauge the voltage from low to high. Best of all, it comes with a knob! These have a grippy plastic knob with a white stripe marking. See more!

NeTV2 – Open Video Development Board: For cutting edge HDMI development, the NeTV2 is the only tool that lets you overlay your own data on top of HDMI, even encrypted streams! The NeTV2 is the next generation after the original NeTV we’ve been stocking for a while. This upgaded version is an add-on board for a Raspberry Pi computer, so you get the benefit of a Linux runtime for development with the power of FPGA video encoding.

NeTV2 is the first offering from the brand new Alphamax, the Open Source Hardware company led by “bunnie” Huang. bunnie is best known as the author of “Hacking the XBox” and was the lead hardware engineer of the chumby internet alarm clock. So, it is no surprise that his latest invention, conceived in Alphamax’s office in South Korea, is a fully open source HDTV peripheral which brings WiFi Internet and Android mobile interfacing to any HDMI TV!
