Solar Geode City #3DPrinting #3DThursday

This is a solar lighting source to sirofsky’s beautiful Geode City. The example LED holder file/pictured is a little rough, but is functional only. The LED’s are 5mm diameter with space for the wiring on the back and is just hot-glued in. The rope/string lights did not direct enough light outward, so I replaced them with the three LED’s and the lighting works very well. You want to use fairly clear/translucent filament. The interior white/translucent city piece is printed with Solutech Glow in the Dark, but it really doesn’t glow much. Previously tried a translucent PETG green, but it blocked too much light.
