What a cutie pie! Or is it… a QT Py? This diminutive dev board comes with our favorite lil chip, the SAMD21 (as made famous in our GEMMA M0 and Trinket M0 boards).

Black Nylon Screw and Stand-off Set – M3 Thread: Totaling 420 pieces, this M3 Screw Set is a must-have for your workstation. You’ll have enough screws, nuts, and hex standoffs to fuel your maker tendencies for days on end! M3 size screws fit a number of Adafruit breakout/dev board standoffs. Since they are nylon you can file them down easily, and they don’t conduct electricity or interfere with antennas/magetometers.
Panel Mount Ultrasonic (Sonar) Ranging Module with UART Output: This sleek looking ‘button’ is actually an ultrasonic sensor, ready for panel mount use. Inside is a module that uses high frequency signals to determine distance to a surface. It’s elegant looking and is more durable than the ‘raw’ ultrasonics we sell a lot of, so it would do well in a garage, robot or installation where you want a durable dust and weather-resistant design. It has a range of 28 cm to 450 cm with a read resolution of 1mm (precision is 1 cm).
Large Ultrasonic (Sonar) Sensor with Horn and UART Output: This impressive looking horn is actually an ultrasonic sensor, ready for panel mount use. Inside is a module that uses high frequency signals to determine distance to a surface, and the horn helps guide the waveform so it can reach farther without spreading too wide. It’s elegant looking and is more durable than the ‘raw’ ultrasonics we sell a lot of, so it would do well in a garage, robot or installation where you want a durable dust and weather-resistant design. It has a range of 28 cm to 750 cm with a read resolution of 1mm (precision isn’t specified, but its probably about 5-10 mm). As you get to the longer distances, its important to take into account the spread of the cone, which is about 40 degrees. We weren’t able to get a reading of 750cm, but we did reach 600 cm (in our small apartment).
Dust Sensor Module Kit – GP2Y1014AU0F with Cable: This simple dust sensor is a great way to add basic particulate sensing to your next project. It’s not as fully featured as our PM2.5 I2C/UART-based sensors, with just a single analog voltage output. However, for the price, it can’t be beat! The SHARP GP2Y1014AU0F Dust Sensor Module Kit particulate sensor uses an LED to bounce off of particles suspended in the air – much like you can clearly see how dusty the air is when a sun beam lights up your room!
Adafruit MIDI FeatherWing Kit: Turn your Feather into a song-bird with this musically-enabled FeatherWing that adds MIDI input and output jacks to just about any Feather. You get both input and output DIN-5 MIDI jacks, a 3V optically isolator so you can interface with MIDI on 3.3V logic/power microcontrollers, and two blinky indicator LEDs underneath the jacks to help you know when data is sent and received.
