Here’s this weeks community makes. These are photos from people who post them as makes on our Thingiverse projects. Nice variety of projects. Yet another guardian sword make, still amazes me people are making these large builds, so many NeoPixels! A first make of the dual extrused hinged raptor dino – Dual extrusion setups becoming more accessible, it seems – Kudos on the double blue color scheme. The Adafruit logo tree topper is early these year, could be photo from previous years – Use translucent filament for fairy lighting effects. Seeing our 3D printed mini stool in multi-color is great (good example of the hot swap filament technique to achieve multi-color prints with a single extruder), even looks great without the glow of LEDs (Only took 89 hours to print!). Apple watch wrist band is a personal favorite, always nice to see high quality looking prints in flexible materials (Another use of hot swap filaments) – Iguana for scale. The Hylian shield was split into 9 different pieces (2-part originally designed), bonded together and painted (loads of sanding no doubt!) – results are a seamless finish, great post processing here! – Human child for scale.

Thank you kindly to all the makers who take the time to post their photos. Links to all the makes below. Project links can be found in the thingiverse page by clicking on the thumbnails in the source section.
