“Complaint Button II: Hammer Time” is another simple automata designed to discourage complaining. Designed to appear as a cluttered workbench (as mine always is), this model was inspired by both my original “Complaint Button” and the numerous suggestions I received to update the design with a more “industrial” look, and perhaps incorporating a hammer (thanks to Donald Bell, https://makerprojectlab.com, for the “hammer” idea!).

I’ve include some options in the design including single and dual extrusion parts, and some optional accessories. The optional accessories, two screwdrivers and pliers, are, well, optional, but do assist in distracting the curious finger from the impending hammer strike.

As usual, I probably forgot a file or two or who knows what else, so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask as I do make mistakes in plenty.

Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!

Have you considered building a 3D project around an Arduino or other microcontroller? How about printing a bracket to mount your Raspberry Pi to the back of your HD monitor? And don’t forget the countless LED projects that are possible when you are modeling your projects in 3D!
