If you’ve got a PI 2 or B+ with a broken SD card slot (the locking spring sometimes doesn’t do too well) then don’t bin it. Make this muzzle to hold the SD card in place.
The muzzle sits on top of the PI with a block extending below to stop the SD card being pushed out.

If you’re using a frame mount (my photos show a VESA spider mount) then I advise using slightly longer bolts. Fix the PI to the frame with nuts, then fix the muzzle loosely. Insert the SD card then fix the muzzle properly onto the other bolt.
Check the card is properly held in place before powering the PI up.

You can also use this thing on newer PIs to make sure the SD card doesn’t get dislodged.

Two STLs are included. One is a thin version where the muzzle is fixed directly to the PI. The other has an allowance for a nut to held hold the PI onto your mount.
SCAD file is also included if you want to add the code to your own PI mount. [0,0,0] is mid way between the mounting holes on the upper face of the PCB.

Print settings can be anything you’re happy with.
